R RESIDENCE

In central Tel Aviv, between the treetops and the city's restless energy, I wanted to give a young family somewhere to exhale.

The idea was calm, never cautious: natural oak and softly textured walls create a quiet framework, leaving room for a more spirited life within.

Burgundy curves, bold art and unexpected patterns bring a little mischief to the grown-up rooms; a scalloped border and mushroom stools carry it into the nursery.

These playful moments sit alongside familiar comforts, making a home that feels considered without asking anyone to be on their best behaviour.

This is curated modernism with family life at its centre: a place to slow down without toning yourself down.
